He/Him

Randi was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, and lived there till he found the love of his life Lucy (a Sister in the Priory.) The two of them moved around the state of Michigan till Lucy landed her dream job and relocated the two of them to Central Iowa.

Mr. Tarte is currently starting his career in healthcare and enjoys helping people whenever he can. In his spare time at home, he enjoys cooking, baking, eating, drinking, playing video games, hiking, and spending time with Lucy and their cats.

While working with the Priory, Randi discovered that his personal ministry is to encourage others to explore, express, and enjoy their spirituality and sexuality in safe and healthy environments. And to let people know that those two things can not only exist alongside each other, but that they can also be one in the same.

Randi loves being a  part of the priory and helping the LGBTQIA+ community of the greater Des Moines area! If you see him at the bars or out on the street, come on over and say hi! He's always excited to make new friends!
